Shah Rukh Khan was born on November 2, 1965 in New Delhi, India. His father, Taj Muhammad Khan, was an Indian freedom fighter from Peshawar, British India. Her mother, Latif Fatima, was the adopted daughter of Major General Shah Nawaz Khan of the Janjua Rajput tribe, who served in the Indian National Army. Khan was 15 when his father died and his mother died in 1990.
